We’re huge advocates for Electric Vehicles here at Going Green. Electric vehicles create zero carbon emission and directly take money out of fossil fuel corporations. When we say electric, we don’t just mean cars. We are talking about bikes, motorcycles, trucks, and vans.
Here are five up and coming electric vehicle companies you should keep an eye out for when you make the transition to electric.
Tesla
Tesla is one of the most well known electric vehicle companies in the world. Led by CEO Elon Musk, Tesla has numerous models of cars on the road, as well as plans for a pick up truck and semi truck.
Zero SR
If you are looking to go a bit more compact, as well as cruise around on a few less wheels, the ZERO SR, produced by Zero Motorcycles, might be your go to. Zero Motorcycles was started in Santa Cruz only ten years ago, and is making a serious splash on the electric vehicle scene.
Volkswagon ID Buzz
The Volkswagon ID Buzz will be available in 2022 with the goal to take an iconic car and update with modern technology. As more and more car companies begin to launch electric cars, don’t be surprised when you see some of your favorite cars from the past being resurrected with the latest electric vehicle gear.
Ferrari SF90 Stradale PHEV
While it’s not totally electronic, it’s Ferrari’s first ever plug in car. Still in its infancy, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale PHEV is working out a lot of the tweaks, but we expect it to be getting upgraded constantly. Able to go 84 MPH, the Ferrari can go for 16 miles straight electric. Not bad, when you consider the power this car has. As the technology gets better and better, don’t be surprised when you see a few of these cruising around in the more luxurious corners of the world.
Benno Bikes
So maybe you can’t quite pull the trigger on the Ferrari, that’s okay. There are plenty of other options for you. Electric bikes are quickly becoming a staple in cities where bicycles are a key way to get around. Benno Bikes have made great strides in the look and feel of their two-wheeled products.
